Services
1st, 2nd, 3rd Class Physical Exam – $175.
Saturday or Same Day Appointment – $200.
Pilots and students should go to www.MedXPress.faa.gov and complete the MedXPress application for your certificate. Once completed, bring your confirmation number to the exam. First class pilots need an EKG at age 35, and annually beginning at age 40 and this can be done at our office.
EKGs are done on site and are $75.
Special Issuance Pilot Exams
1st, 2nd, 3rd Class HIMS Appointment – $600.
Saturday or Same Day HIMS Appointment – $800.

Any time spent by Dr. Schacher in emails, texts or phone calls with the pilot, or on behalf of the pilot with the FAA after the first exam can result in additional fees. Please keep track of your requests.
Some examples would be:
- The pilot wants to consult with Dr. Schacher about decisions that are forthcoming
- The pilot received a letter from the FAA and needs to discuss it
- The pilot is uncertain of what tests or reports are needed from his healthcare providers and needs extensive discussion
